DGIA is an independent Insurance agency that represents several A-rated companies across Personal and Commercial Insurance. We also have access to several life insurance companies and products available to assist our clients with their family planning. We have 20+ years’ experience in the insurance industry with access to several competitive options while still considering the right fit for the customer. The right product at the right price is the most important aspect of what we do. Our goal is to ensure our clients’ satisfaction in the products and services we offer and for DGIA to be the ultimate stop for any future insurance needs. Because we have access to so many different carriers, we believe that our proactive approach to managing your business allows us to explore options as your insurance situation changes. Our approach allows us to adjust to your changing situation but our experience allows for us to identify opportunities in your insurance to avoid being without a plan to address your needs.

Dan Gutschewski

Dan Gutschewski is owner and Principal Agent at DGIA Insurance. His career in the insurance industry started after he graduated from The University of Houston and was the first Program for Excellence in Selling graduate to start their career at Liberty Mutual. While working in the Spring area of Houston, he established strong relationships with his clients and business partners and made the office in Spring one of the top offices in the country. After almost 5 years as an agent in the Houston area, Dan moved into Austin to revitalize and build up the Austin area through the hiring training and developing of additional sales agents. After over 20 years in the insurance industry as an Agent, Manager, and Director, Dan left his corporate role in insurance to open his own agency, DGIA. It has been a dream of his to open his own agency and grow it like he grew the market in his corporate role.

When he is not working with his clients, Dan enjoys spending time with his family - his wife and their three children. He is very busy and involved with his boys’ baseball and football leagues and let’s not forget his daughter’s dance recitals! In the offseason Dan is often planning a “Gutschewski” Family Road Trip that often mimics those of the Griswolds.
